First off, I went to mention that I bought one of the Paint By Sticker Kids books for my students, and I haven't had any issues with it. This book was the first release from this series so hopefully some of my complaints have been corrected in later releases. As you can see from the photos, the stickers do not all line up perfectly. They're not all cut correctly, and several of the photos were not cut all the way through. A couple of the stickers actually ripped when I tried to remove them from the page, so I had to get an Xacto knife to cut the stuck stickers from the sheet.I do like that the stickers are very clearly labeled and separated into letter sections. It makes it much easier to find their corresponding place on the blank page. Both the sticker sheets and the blank pages are perforated, but if you don't want to rip them out, there are flaps on the front and back cover you can use to "bookmark" the sticker page as you flip back and forth. This book was way bigger than I thought it would be, which makes putting on all the small stickers much easier.

These are not perfect but they are better quality than some of the others. It makes all the difference in the world to USE TWEEZERS. This allows you to better align the sticker to the shape. Some of the sticker corners have ripped when I've tried to pull them off and some of the stickers don't match the shape 100%. I have done some of the Workman Publishing for Kids, which are good for adults if you're in the mood for something less intense, and they have come out perfectly so far. I would recommend, but just don't expect perfection with the completed pictures in this book.

I'm loving this book! It's great to do while watching tv or needing to kill time. I haven't had any issues with stickers sticking, but I've only done 3 so far. Some of the little stickers are tough to place, and some don't line up "perfectly", but it's still fun and looks great!!!

...and you don't mind taking an extra step, use rubber cement or a glue stick. Like other reviews said, the stickers DO NOT STICK. Really at all. I was getting really frustrated on my first one, then had the bright idea to use an adhesive. All I had at the time was a glue stick: Perfection. Even when the glue dried, it was tacky enough to work with the adhesive on the sticker to hold it in place. The next time when I was with all my craft supplies, rubber cement was better (as I assumed it would be for its tacky-ness), I just made sure the layer was thin by using a smaller brush than the one in the lid to control how much I put down and to get into the sharp corners on some designs. (Obviously I do this step on the entire design before starting, not on each section during application of each sticker.) Plus, the beauty of rubber cement is that you can let it dry then cleanly roll off any excess if it got somewhere you don't want it. I don't find having to do this step annoying for any reason other than the fact that the stickers should simply just stick on their own. I hope future versions of this use a better adhesive, but all in all, I'd still consider another adult version of this. One of the tips in the beginning of the book is to lay a sheet of paper over it once completed and run a bone folder (or something firm and flat) over the design, presumably to help the stickers stay in place, so they must know it's an issue. Also, if you're expecting perfection like the photos, you won't get it. The stickers aren't a perfectly *precise* match to the shape, so you will see some white in between, and then others overlap each other, even with precision application...some shapes just aren't exact matches. My perfectionism and I had a hard time with this at first, but we don't care now. I use cheap tweezers so that helps a lot with small pieces and alignment.I have not tried tearing out one of the design pages yet, but I have to be very careful when tearing the sticker pages from the back because it is a thicker paper and you have to be tough, but the stickers near the edge can rip away when doing this, so just be careful if that's your method.

The is a beautifully put together book. A lot of work and planning went into its design. The problem with it is some of the stickers are smaller than the place they are supposed to be placed. The author's notes say it's OK for a little white to show. However, on the pages where the stickers are too small for there respective placement, a lot of white shows, spoiling the look of the finished page. One can tell a lot of work went into creating and planning this book. I'm surprised that some of the stickers do not fit their place properly. I haven;t completed a lot of pages as yet, but there were many cases on the first pages where the sticker was smaller than the provided space, leaving it "framed" by the white paper behind it. Yes, some white will show if the sticker is not placed in it's spot perfectly. I believe that's what the author meant in the comments, but the white showing around a sticker that is too small should not be the case.

I really enjoy this book. As some other reviews said, some of the stickers are not completely cut and they rip when you try to remove them. I also found that some of the pieces are cut slightly too small or too large. Given that there are hundreds of pieces on each picture I have only run into these issues a handful of times. Do yourself a favor and use some tweezers as some of the pieces are super tiny. I would buy again. Very relaxing.

Been wanting to get one of these for a while and finally got it. Love the concept and how simple it is yet looks like a painting from distance. Very fun! The reason that it's only 4 star is because most of the sticker pieces don't exactly align with the shape. You would leave the other side slightly blank if you aligns it with one side. For people like me who is obsessed with aligning things perfectly with the shape, it was a bit frustrating at the beginning, but at the end it actually doesn't affect the result at all. Overall love it, and will buy more!
