There are a lot of great ideas and resources in this book. I like that the the warmups are labeled with what they help achieve such as range expansion, group cohesion, vowel formation, etc. My middle school choirs really enjoy the warmups and look forward to learning new exercises. This is a great resource to have on hand.

This is a great collection of Choral warm-ups that's proven to be invaluable to me and I love how it's divided into sections based on specific vocal skills that you're trying to build in your choir members

I love this book! I am a high school choir director and this is my sidekick in the classroom. Choral warm-ups will never get boring with this. The book is very clear to understand, well organized and provide a sequential approach to healthy vocalization. Many great examples focused on breathing, vowels, diction, flexibility, scales, intervals, intonation, phrasing, blend, dynamics, range, minor, chords, and rounds. Well worth it to purchase this book. All the examples are numbered so I can easily get to them during rehearsal.

This book has many fun and interesting warm-ups that I have used for my chorus. Sometimes warm-ups can be tedious or boring but the ones in this book have come in handy for a change of pace from the ones my chorus usually use. It's easy to fall into old or lazy habits but alternating the warm-ups can keep the evening exciting and keep the singers on their toes.

This collection is excellent!! I really like the way it is divided into sections to address vowels, diction range etc. As a professional singer I know tons of warm-ups to address technique. The book provides fun examples from many directors which entertain the choir and set the mood for rehearsals.

This book has a lot of good ideas for warm-up exercises, but I see two major flaws:-Insufficient pedagogy for the beginning choral teacher to properly integrate these into a coherent warm-up sequence.-Too much redundancy (similarity among several exercises.)I bought this book on strong recommendation. There are some really good thoughts and exercises in here, but they are a sadly small percentage of the 157 included. Helpful, but disappointing.

Although the Meditations is standard reading for Philosophy 101, I personally would recommend that instructors use the Discourse on Method. It contains the basic ideas in a more autobiographical context and does not delve into the minutiae of Cartesianism.As a system, Cartesianism is of interest only to the history of ideas as later scientific developments have proved. But it is obviously important in the history of Western Civ and so should be introduced in the college curriculum. My opinion is simply that instructors should consider the Discourse a more accessible text.

The book I received was in exellent shape and it came in a very short time.

"Spark Notes Oedipus Trilogy" - I only used these "Spark Notes" for the play "Oedipus Rex" (or "Oedipus The King"). They were helpful in distinguishing the climax and bits of dialogue, but it's nothing spectacular. I "sorta" recommend.

Highly recommended for readers seeking to understand, study and appreciate Sophocles' classic and enduring Oedipus plays.Outstanding.The only way they could have been better would be to follow the format of Barnes and Noble's "No Fear Shakespeare" series....modern day language on the left page, older language on the right.But until that comes, this is the way to go....
